Cursor slash commands: 35 workflows you type with /

A Cursor command is a saved prompt pipeline. Type /ship or /launch and the session adopts the right agents, reads the right skills, and writes files, not another unbounded chat. This is the full list.

The same 47 commands install into both editors. In Claude Code each one also carries argument-hint and allowed-tools frontmatter, so the harness knows what it accepts and what it is permitted to run.

What Cursor commands are

Commands are markdown files in .cursor/commands/. When you type / in chat, Cursor lists them. The file is the workflow: who acts, which skills to read, what files to write, when to stop.

They are not skills. They are not rules. A rule shapes every turn. A skill may load itself. A command runs only when you type it. That is why feature roundups should not rank for “cursor commands”. The directory is this page.

Command workflows

Engineering commands form a slice pipeline: /feature-spec → /ship (or /build-api / /build-page) → /audit → /release. Bugs go through /fix, not /ship.

Marketing commands form a launch pipeline: /positioning → /landing-page → /seo-audit → /launch.

Related Cursor skills

/ship reads saas-patterns, next-app-router, and postgres-drizzle. /seo-audit reads on-page-seo and pillar-cluster. Browse the Cursor skills pillar for the rest.

Related Cursor agents

/ship adopts tech-lead, then specialists. /launch adopts launch-coordinator. The command is the entry point; the agent roster is who does the work.
